Kinsley's Early Summer Photos

We interrupt this "family beach trip recap" to bring you the following important message...

Er, well, actually, it's just some really great photos from the beginning of the summer! The long-awaiting CD arrived today - here they are...the even more amazing thing is how MUCH Kinsley has already changed since May when these were taken. Incredible. There is still so much "baby" in her face in these photos...and now she is such a "little girl." Nonetheless, they must all be added to my little virtual baby book.

And now, I cannot wait to get my hands on some antique photo frames for our family room...

Seagrove Beach: Part I

So, my awesome brother showed up at our annual beach trip this year with an awesome new Nikon camera...the kind of camera that has inspired me to make a trip to Costco when we get home and look into replacing my little Canon with his same one...(or better yet, putting all of these Marriott & Delta points to good use!). So Danny has been our resident photographer all week, and is pretty darn good at it. Here are some of the initial photos he sent me over email tonight, most of which were taken on the beach outside of a Destin favorite, The Back Porch.

It's been a fun & relaxing week so far, full of sunshine, strong gulf coast thunderstorms, swims at the pool, naps on the beach, playing in the sand, and great seafood dinners! It's been such a nice getaway, and we are looking foward to "Part II" over the next few days of our summer vacation...

Summer Cont'd...

We are finally heading off on summer vacation next week (yay!), and that always brings an abundance of photos in the blog post that follows...so I wanted to be sure that I posted some fun photos from July separately...this has been a fun month, and Kinsley has had a great time *experiencing* everything! Swim lessons were probably one of the best things that we could have done...we actually "submerged" her tonight three times without choking / swallowing water! Success!!! She also LOVED her Music Class...so much, in fact, that we have already signed up for the Fall session beginning at the end of August and running through November. She is growing up so fast...I can't believe that she'll turn 17 months while we are at the beach, and then she'll be a year and a 1/2 right after that! It all goes by so fast...

~A visit up with my Nanny and Papa-Tim, after Papa-Tim got out of the hospital~

Look at that smile as she managed to wiggle out of my Nanny's arms! She's constantly moving!

Modeling her flower clip and that vast amount of HAIR that is FINALLY growing in!

Seriously, why does she look so OLD here? Slow down!

Her other favorite thing to do these days: rearrange the chairs in the kitchen.

She is starting to LOVE sitting in her own chair.

Yard work with daddy!

Some cute photo's from Holley and Brent's baby shower...

Kinsley telling the pups they had to stay outside after swimming in the lake.

Silly girl found a straw cowboy hat.

Waiting for class to begin...where are all of my friends?

And just look who is right in the middle of the circle...our little social butterfly!

A glimpse at the monitor shows how Kins sleeps these days...tush up in the air...so cute.
