Go Dawgs! Go Braves! And Go...Doc McStuffins?

We have had some fun events the past two weeks:

1. a trip into downtown Atlanta with Kinsley's friend Kendall and her mom Kim to *attempt* to see Disney's Doc McStuffins & her Mobile Clinic (which ended up being a bit of a *fail* as we arrived at 10:30am only to be told that we could wait around for the 2:00pm timeslot - no thanks) and ended up on our first trip to The Varsity instead.

2. a much more successful trip back into downtown Atlanta that evening for Philip and Kinsley to go the Atlanta Braves Daddy-Daughter night with her friend Eloise and her dad Jared.  They even got to run the bases on the field before the game!

3. the kids first trip to Athens for their first UGA football game with Uncle D, Aunt Ang and Maggie...we didn't stay long (no naps + rain = an early departure after the 1st quarter), but we tailgated, saw the Dawg Walk, saw the band and cheerleaders, saw all of the pre-game festivities before kick-off, cheered for the actual kick-off, ate a stadium hotdog and pretzel and watched a first quarter of football complete with some sprinkles of rain.  We even stopped by mommy's old sorority house to grab a few photos before heading back home.  Both kids were sounds asleep before we made it to 316.  Fun weekends for sure!

In Centennial Park, all smiles, 'cause this was before we came across the FOUR HOUR LINE...
Buddies!
Stopping to rest by the fountains.
Due to the lines, this was about as close as we got to the "Mobile Clinic."  Good grief...
So it was off to an Atlanta landmark for lunch!
"What'd ya have?"  She ate every bite of her Varsity hot dog and fries.  That's my girl.

Running the bases inside Turner Field at the Atlanta Braves' Daddy-Daughter Night!
Kinsley LOVED being on the field just before game time!
Go Braves!

On our way!  SO excited!
Mommy and Kinsley at the Dawg Walk!
Angela, Maggie and Carter at the Dawg Walk!

This is "tailgating" when you have 3 little ones!
Family photo when it was sprinkling...
And another family photo when it wasn't...

Cheering with the cheerleaders and band before kick-off...we practiced the fight song all week:
G-E-O-Rrrrrrrr-G-I-A....GOOOOOO DAWGS, SIC EM, WOOF WOOF WOOF!

Exhausted - Carter tried to nap in the stadium, but his little body would jump everytime something good happened on the field and the crowd cheered.  Bless his heart...
Family photo in front of the famous "hedges" on the way out of the stadium.  Yes, Carter is still sound asleep.
Had to stop by AXO for a photo before leaving Athens!  This was literally the only parking spot open when we pulled up to the Alpha Chi house!  Coincidence???

The ol' house looked good!

Future Alpha Chi?  My little "legacy..." :)

Second day of school - in her other uniform!
