Santa! Santa! Santa!

There's absolutely ZERO fear of the big guy this year in the eyes of our 3-but-nearly-4-year-old sweet Kinsley!  She is ALL ABOUT SANTA!!!  It has been SOOO much fun!  Our sweet Carter, on the other hand, is still trying to warm up to the idea of him.  We have had so much fun this December...with our official Santa visit at Bass Pro Shop (for the second year in a row) last weekend (12/14) and then breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Clause this morning (12/21).  We are LOVING this time of year!!!

Both of our kiddos!  "Love" for Santa on one side, and "not-so-much-love" on the other!  But just a priceless moment!
I'm sorry - but this is too cute...
These next shots were taken in rapid sucession….notice Kinsley's facial expression beginning to change.
"Carter, don't worry...we've been good this year, there's no need to cry."
"Um, mom, he is ruining this for us - we'll never make the Nice List now!"
"Carrrterrr…come onnnn.  Stop crying!"
"Mom, seriously can you come get him already???"
"Ahhh, all by myself - that's better!"

]
Ahhhh, finally getting around to discussing to THE LIST!
Yes!!  A candycane!!
(Which she loves in theory, but hates the taste of them…too funny)!
Ending the night with a carousel ride, of course!
***Breakfast With Santa***

Best seat in the house!
No problem hopping up in Santa's lap!
Sweet Kinsley with Santa and Mrs. Clause!
We tried a photo with the three of us, but Carter wasn't having any part of it…too close.
Telling him what she wants for Christmas - you know, in case he forgot since their visit last weekend.
"Mom, they are right behnd me, aren't they?"
Having a deep discussion with the man in red…she was so excited he came over to our table!

***YAY!!!!  ONLY 4 MORE DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!***

Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Well, we boldly ventured all the way down inside the perimeter…on a weeknight…in rush hour traffic…during the kids' dinner time…BUT it was totally worth it!

Halloween & Thanksgiving (and everything in between)!

What a wondeful Fall we have had.  After hitting three pumpkin patches, we rounded out October with a great Halloween, trick-or-treating with friends in our neighborhood in unseasonably warm temperatures!  We had a sweet little cupcake (complete with mommy's handmade icing-and-cherry-on-top headpiece) and a cute, plump little pumpkin to celebrate this year!   Then, Kinsley got to participate in her first All Saints Day parade at school on the day after Halloween.  She was Saint Anne, mother of Mary and grandmother to Jesus.  I dressed her in the closest thing I had to a cloak / robe and she carried "baby Jesus."  So cute.  We decorated for Christmas already and Carter has had a blast playing with Hunter - he is Carter's personal jungle gym lately. Carter is crawling everywhere and pulling up and cruising on just about anything he can get his hands on.  He recently discovered stairs, which is always fun.  :)  Both Carter and Kinsley are going to be SO much fun this Christmas!!!

Then, Thanksgiving!  We had a relaxing day, in between a bad cold that has made both kiddos feel pretty rotten on this break.  It was sunny but freezing outside - love th cold weather this time of year!  We even took our Christmas card photo (to be seen in a later post)!

And finally, The Forum's Christmas Tree lighting on "black Friday!"  Kinsley was a littleunder the weather, so Carter and I ventured out to catch some deals in the afternoon, followed by the lighting ceremony with Aunt Kelly last night!  Oh, and guess who made his appearance this moring…CHIPPY!!!!  Our Elf has arrived to keep an eye on things from now until Christmas.  It's officially the holidays!  'Tis the season!!!
