Halloween & Thanksgiving (and everything in between)!

What a wondeful Fall we have had.  After hitting three pumpkin patches, we rounded out October with a great Halloween, trick-or-treating with friends in our neighborhood in unseasonably warm temperatures!  We had a sweet little cupcake (complete with mommy's handmade icing-and-cherry-on-top headpiece) and a cute, plump little pumpkin to celebrate this year!   Then, Kinsley got to participate in her first All Saints Day parade at school on the day after Halloween.  She was Saint Anne, mother of Mary and grandmother to Jesus.  I dressed her in the closest thing I had to a cloak / robe and she carried "baby Jesus."  So cute.  We decorated for Christmas already and Carter has had a blast playing with Hunter - he is Carter's personal jungle gym lately. Carter is crawling everywhere and pulling up and cruising on just about anything he can get his hands on.  He recently discovered stairs, which is always fun.  :)  Both Carter and Kinsley are going to be SO much fun this Christmas!!!

Then, Thanksgiving!  We had a relaxing day, in between a bad cold that has made both kiddos feel pretty rotten on this break.  It was sunny but freezing outside - love th cold weather this time of year!  We even took our Christmas card photo (to be seen in a later post)!

And finally, The Forum's Christmas Tree lighting on "black Friday!"  Kinsley was a littleunder the weather, so Carter and I ventured out to catch some deals in the afternoon, followed by the lighting ceremony with Aunt Kelly last night!  Oh, and guess who made his appearance this moring…CHIPPY!!!!  Our Elf has arrived to keep an eye on things from now until Christmas.  It's officially the holidays!  'Tis the season!!!
