An anniversary letter to baby...

Dear Kinsley,

This Monday the 31st, your daddy and I will celebrate 10+ years since our first date back in college, and 7 incredible years since we took our vows of marriage before God and our closest family and friends. We've experienced so many things in 7 years, but this past year was by far the most special yet: we went from being husband and wife...to "mamma" and "dadda." We welcomed you into the world with loving arms in March, wiped away each other's tears while staying bedside by you for those scary 14 days in NICU, and since then, we have smiled too many smiles to count as we watch you take on so many new "firsts" everyday. Your mommy and daddy are best friends, are hard working parents, and simply want to give you the best life that we possibly can. We pray that God continues to bless our family with His grace and that we will continue to provide for you a warm, loving home, and demonstrate to you daily what a strong, loving marriage looks like. Afterall, we have had amazing role models ourselves with our parents (your BeeBe & Papa and MayMay & Pop) and our grandparents.

Someday you will grow up, meet the man of your dreams and start a family of your own, and I pray that you find someone as devoted and loving as your daddy.

But that will all happen someday...for now, you just keep on being our sweet baby girl. Cause we are lovin' every minute of it...

Love always,
Mommy

  1. What a precious message. I can only imagine how much Kinsley will enjoy reading that in years to come. So well written and sentimental!
