On Friday, lil' miss priss turned 11 months, just one month shy of the big milestone 1st birthday! This past month has been busy and FULL of one change and event after another...
- Not only did Kinsley start crawling over the past month, but shortly after she got the crawling thing down, she immediately started full-on furniture cruising...pulling up on everything, including her crib (which is now dropped to the lowest setting)...and I'm pretty sure that she is not content with just crawling...yep, she is now being brave and letting go of whatever she has pulled-up on, as if she's trying to walk...oh dear...
- Crawling = into everything. This child never stops moving. And she's quick, too. Our family room is like her own personal jungle-gym. She's fearless, and loves to go after anything that she shouldn't: outlets, vacuum cleaner, cords, telephone jacks, her video monitor (which is now positioned about 2ft higher on the wall than it was previously)...you name it. And it is amazing to see her start to explore like this, but oh my, is it ever so tiresome for mommy and daddy! She also seems to know the word "no." But the grin that she gives me when she proceeds to try and do anything that I say "no" to makes me think that she doesn't quite understand what it means......or does she, and is that the reason for the coy grin...uh oh.

Pausing to rest while on one of her crawling expedition's around the house.
- And with crawling comes lots of germs on her hands that, in Kinsley's case, go right to her mouth. Probably another contributor to the 2 sicknesses that she picked up somewhere along the way over the past month as well. Whew...we were so over her not feeling well...but after the antibiotic injections she received earlier last week, she was like a new baby and you can just look at her and tell she feels sooo good...which made us sooo happy.
- We also started brushing Kinsley's teeth at night before bath time, and she loves it...I think it feels good on her gums, and we are getting those two little bottom teeth squeaky clean from all the food she eats during the day (and hopefully putting healthy habits into place). And speaking of food, we are exploring more of them, but she is still my same good-eater. Loves all of the old favorites, but we are now adding to the list blueberries and chicken. Yummm.
- Another biggie from this past month (well, from yesterday to be exact): a family wedding is on the way as Kinsley's Aunt Kelly got engaged to "Uncle-to-be" David! We are so excited!!!

See, this is how I clap...like this.
Daddy and Kinsley playing with their new favorite toy...Kinsley is definitely an iBaby.
And still lovin' her bath time!

The weather outside today was beautiful, sunny and hovering right around 60. So out to the yard we went so she could play with Hunter and another new favorite: leaves (and pretty much anything else lying around that falls from trees...thus the paci is present in every single photo - I got tired of fishing debris out of her mouth).
Here are some photos from the afternoon of the weekend our big girl turned 11 months!
Yep, with this small dose of nice weather, I think we are officially ready for Spring!
